Our client, a market leader in Aircraft Leasing, is currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Reporting Accountant to join their Dublin team. This role is a senior level technical accounting position requiring previous experience in a comparable analytical accounting position within Aircraft Leasing. 

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for Finance on all new and existing transactions
• Work closely with stakeholders within the business to provide accounting specific advice on transactions
• Refer and respond to external advisers, such as, tax and audit as required
• Ensure financial statements for various group entities are presented and completed as per schedule
• Present financial statements to board on a quarterly basis

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in a comparable technical accounting or financial reporting role in Aircraft Leasing
• Relevant 3rd/postgraduate level qualification in finance, accounting or other relevant field
• Professional level accounting qualification (ACA preferable) with Big 4 experience required
• Strong technical knowledge with in-depth hands on experience of financial statement preparation under IFRS
• Knowledge and passion for Aircraft Leasing industry
