Financial Accountant - Jamaica

My client, a market leader in telecommunications in the Caribbean, is currently hiring for a Financial Accountant to join their evolving group Finance function. This role will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting process from a technical perspective. Candidates are required to have a strong understanding of process analysis and development of best practice and policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of robust processes to support group reporting
• Ensure internal process and policy is in line with relevant international and domestic standards
• Support the development of controls working closely with internal and external audit partners

Requirements

• Professional level Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred)
• 2-4 years PQE, audit or practice experience beneficial
• Process improvement, business analysis and policy implementation experience beneficial
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Working proficiency of Hyperion and Smart View beneficial
• Advanced MS Excel user
