Financial Accountant - Dublin

My client, an international provider of legal and corporate services is currently looking to expand their Dublin team. Working closely with the Managing Director and Head of Accounting, the position is primarily responsible for the preparation and filing of accounts on behalf of Aircraft Leasing and Capital Markets clients.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of accounts for portfolios of Irish SPV entities in accordance with transactional and statutory deadlines
• Management of new and existing client relationships
• Ensure Aircraft Leasing specific transactions and expenses are accounted for correctly in line with IFRS or relevant GAAP; lease payments, interest charges, reserves, etc.
• Act as point of contact for client legal, tax, audit and investment representatives
• Ensure overall tax, VAT and CT returns, are dealt with according to tax advisor instruction
• Preparation of relevant regulatory filings; FATCA, CRS, EMIR, etc.

Requirements

• Professional level Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred)
• 0-3 years PQE, FS or Aircraft Leasing audit experience beneficial (Top 10)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, financial reporting experience an advantage
• Knowledge of CT and VAT compliance
• Strong client communication skills
• Advanced MS Excel user
