Job Details:

Our client, an international law firm, are currently recruiting an AML Specialist. Working as part of the Risk and Partnership Affairs team you will be managing AML requirements across the firm.

In this role you will be:

  • Actively participating in compliance projects from time to time
  • Conducting on-going AML reviews on all client files and ensuring compliance in the maintenance of AML records
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory developments in AML
  • Maintaining internal databases and researching public registers
  • Maintaining various compliance registers
  • Providing detailed reporting on AML issues
  • Reviewing AML documentation for new clients
  • Updating policy and procedures where applicable

Data Management

  • Reviewing new records for accuracy and completeness
  • Managing duplicate data
  • Managing the maintenance and upgrading of client data
  • Maintaining standards and protocols and ensure data is modelled, named and defined consistently according to those standards

System Management

  • Developing an in depth understanding of the firm’s Practice Management System and related systems
  • Ensuring that effective record and file keeping is maintained in relation to the role’s areas of responsibility

Project Management

  • Assisting and participating in client data-related projects in the firm as required
  • Working closely with IT to improve systems associated with client data capture and compliance registers

The person

  • You are comfortable with databases and have good project management and reporting skills
  • You are currently working in AML ideally in financial services or professional services
  • You have a commercial mind-set and the credibility to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • You have a keen eye for detail and excellent analytical skills
  • You have excellent systems skills and knowledge of 3E an advantage
  • You take a structured and process driven approach
