Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aviation & Asset Finance Lawyer (1-5 PQE), to join a dynamic international aviation leasing and financing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating relevant transaction documents, assisting with aircraft lease compliance and default issues and assisting with the customer due diligence and corporate approval process.

Role Requirements

Reviewing and negotiating transaction documents such as letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, leasing, financing and security agreements, maintenance and servicing agreements, aircraft sale and purchase agreements, and all other related documents;

• Assisting with aircraft lease compliance and default issues, including lease restructurings and repossessions;
• Assisting with the customer due diligence and corporate approval process;
• assisting with the implementation of internal regulatory compliance policies and procedures;
• Liaising with and managing external legal, tax and other professional advisors in all relevant jurisdictions; and
• Liaising with airlines, financiers, aircraft buyers and sellers, other aircraft lessors, manufacturers, servicers, maintenance providers and other industry participants.

Candidate Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in aviation finance/leasing;
• Legal qualification in Ireland, England or other common law jurisdiction;
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment whilst maintaining high quality work and excellent attention to detail;
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to prioritise the various aspects of the role; and
• Be able to work in a culturally diverse and global business and industry, and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders, clients and business partners.

Role Remuneration

Market leading salary, commensurate with experience.
